Who was Meera Bai? The reminiscent of Girdhara Goapala to Meera Bai.

Meera Bai is a byword of devotion and reverence. She was born to show a path of spirituality through her hymns that she sang while worshiping her beloved Lord Krsihna. She is a sign of spiritual awakening in humans who have faith in Lord krishna. 

Saint Meera Bai was born in 1498 on sharad purnima. She was born at Kurki in the kindom of Marwar according to various sources but according to the refernce of an authentic book, it is published that she was born an raised in Merta(Nagore). Well, devotees can't be found in facts as devotion is a context of reverence. 

People are amazed to know that how mystically she got merged in an idol of Dwarkadhish, the temple situated in Dwarka, Gujrat. 

A princess who turned as saint. It was her reincarnation since she was born as Madhavi in Dwapar Yuga. Madhavi was married to one of the sakhas of krishna. Madhavi's mother persuaded her to hide her face to krishna, a little boy who is famous and compelling and knows magic. She said that krishna has power of hypnotize. Once someone meets him, gets hypnotized so she was advised to hide her face in veil. 

After the wedding rituals while Madhavi was  carrying forward in palanquin towards her in laws house, krishna came to meet her and wanted to have a glimpse as he had a great divine bond with all the Gopikas. Krishna urged madhavi to unveil her face but madhavi remembered what her mother said before she left her house, therefore she denied krishna to show her face. Krishna tried to convince her many a times but she wad firm to her statement. After a while Krishna said to her, "you're not unveiling yourself today, but one day you will yearn to have a glimpse of mine."

Several days later when it was raining heavily in the 'Braja', as it was wrath of 'Indradev' for not being worshiped by Brijvasis. Lord Krishna lifted and held Govardhan hill on his tiny finger miraculously to make Indra realise his mistake and abolish his ego. 

It was the time when madhavi got a glimpse of Krishnaas 'Girdhara'. Gir stands for hill and Dhara is for holding. Now Madhavi felt deceived. She felt heartbroken since her mother said her to stay away from almighty. She felt powerless, numb and distressed. 

Madhavi reincarnated as Meera to get her destination and for awakening spirituality in humans who have even slight reverence. She born in Rathore Dynasty and became 'Bhakt Shiromani'. She considered and worshiped Girdhara as her husband since she could have a sense of self realization of her prior birth

she faced all the life challenges to meet him.

She wrote poems and hymns for her beloved one that are enough for anyone for spiritual awkening. 

Devi Meera reincarnated for Girdhara, lived for Girdhara, sang for Girdhara, danced to please Girdhara and in the end got merged into Girdhara.
